Scottish Socialist Party

Scottish Socialist Party
(SSP)
The SSP was founded in 1998 as an anti-capitalist party whose goal is to build a socialist Scotland that will stand up to the forces of global capitalism. It is a pro-independence, pro-internationalist and anti-imperialist party. It is unrepresented in the Scottish Parliament but has one member in the European Parliament, in both cases its cause being helped by proportional-voting systems.
